Recipe for Lavender-Scented Pancakes
Who doesn't have memories of breakfasts or crepe evenings that bring joy to the table? If there's one recipe that unites all generations, it's homemade crepes. And lavender crepes have the art of adding a touch of refinement to this traditionally family dish that will not go unnoticed.
Indeed, adding a few drops of lavender essential oil to a recipe is enough to transform a dish and surprise all palates. The pure and natural AOC fine lavender essential oil from Château des Bois has an incomparable fragrance. Because it is produced responsibly and artisanally, it has a rich olfactory palette. Thus, your homemade crepes are likely to make a sensation.
A single bite of lavender crepe quickly brings positive appreciation around the table. And because lavender pairs perfectly with the yellow fruits of the sun, you can garnish your lavender crepes with peaches or apricots. And for cocoa lovers, feel free to add a drizzle of melted dark chocolate when serving. Lavender and chocolate always make a successful combination.
Lavender crepes can just as well be an original breakfast or a refined dessert. The fresh and floral taste of fine lavender is unique and will surprise in the most delicious way.
Break the eggs into a container and mix them with the brown sugar until smooth.
Add two drops of fine lavender essential oil to the previous mixture and gently mix to flavor the dough.
Add the flour to the mixture, then gradually pour in the milk while continuing to mix until a very fluid texture is obtained.
Heat a crepe pan over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter or oil. Pour a small ladle of batter into the pan and spread it to form a thin, even crepe. Cook the crepe on both sides until lightly golden.
Repeat the operation until the batter is used up to obtain about 20 lavender-scented crepes.
For a gourmet touch, you can add a spoonful of fine lavender honey to each crepe before enjoying them.
