Recipe for Lavender Infused Pancakes

Step 1: Mix the Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, sugar, a pinch of salt, and a packet of vanilla sugar.

Step 2: Prepare the Pancake Batter

In another bowl, mix the 2 egg yolks with the milk and 2 drops of lavender essential oil, then add to the dry ingredients while mixing. You will get a thick pancake batter. Let it rest for 15 to 30 minutes.

Step 3: Incorporate the Whipped Egg Whites

Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, then gently fold them into the batter. This is the secret to ultra-fluffy pancakes.

Step 4: Cook the Pancakes

Cook in a hot, buttered skillet for 1 minute on each side. The edges should be golden, and small bubbles should form on top.

Step 5: Serve the Pancakes

Flip the pancake. Repeat to create a beautiful stack of lavender-infused pancakes!

  • 2 drops of lavender essential oil
  • 150 ml of semi-skimmed milk
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 25 g of flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • A pinch of salt
